ASICS Teams Up With Belfast Half
Danny O’Connor, chair of the Belfast City Marathon organising committee, commented: “We are overwhelmed with the success of the last two half marathon events so are delighted to offer this on an annual basis. For the 2015 event, we are welcoming our new title sponsor ASICS for the first time. With their experienced international brand, we look forward to working together to increase participation numbers on race day.
“Our route will again showcase the city of Belfast by passing major landmarks including Belfast City Hall, Albert Clock and the Titanic Quarter to help raise money for our official charity.”
Rebecca Tredant, ASICS events manager said: “ASICS is delighted to be the title sponsor and training partner of the 3rd ASICS Belfast City Half Marathon event. We are proud to support a growing key half marathon event in the UK/Ireland race event calendar and are looking forward to supporting the runners in their journey to help them #gorunit.”
