On Sunday 28 September Birmingham High Performance Athletics Centre (HIPAC) will host the 2014 Midlands and South West Annual Coaching Conference, with two top key note speakers, Rasmus Ankersen (pictured) and Neil Black, confirmed. The event will also feature a selection of workshops available to all coaches and leaders who want to develop their skills and knowledge within the sport.
Rasmus Ankersen is an author of five bestselling books, a speaker on performance development and a trusted advisor to businesses and athletes around the world. With his most recent book, the Gold Mine Effect, Rasmus has taken another step into the secrets of high performance.
As British Athletics' Performance Director, Neil is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the World Class Performance Plan (Olympic and Paralympic) through setting the culture, creating the environment and working with people to deliver success. Neil has worked with Sally Gunnell, Linford Christie, Colin Jackson, Roger Black, Kelly Holmes, Denise Lewis, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Mo Farah.
