On Sunday 29 January, legendary US running coach Dr Jack Daniels is coming to Birmingham to host his first ever UK workshop. The High Performance Centre, Alexander Stadium in Birmingham is the venue for this one-day running and coaching workshop, organised by The Running Curve.
Dubbed ‘The World’s Best Coach’ by Runner’s World magazine and author of the bestseller ‘Daniels Running Formula’; this is an unmissable opportunity to learn from a highly respected figure who has guided the careers of a number of top US athletes including Joan Benoit Samuelson and Ryan Hall.
Attendees will be the first in the UK to meet and listen to Dr Jack Daniels as he discusses his training methods and philosophies followed by a Q & A session. Also new is the chance to be treated as an elite athlete via a hands-on coaching session on the track
This is the latest in the series of triumphs for Britain’s second city that is fast establishing itself as a mecca of running. It is already host to the Great Birmingham 10K and Half Marathon with the inaugural Birmingham International Marathon next to join this list. Birmingham is also the setting for several international athletics events including the Muller Indoor Grand Prix and the IAAF Diamond League, featuring big-name stars such as Mo Farah and Greg Rutherford.
The Jack Daniels running and coaching workshop starts at 9am and finishes at 4.30pm. Tickets are available on The Running Curve
