Entries are streaming in for October’s Eden Marathon and Half Marathon in Cornwall. One of the UK’s foremost millennium projects, Eden’s biospheres have become an icon for England’s most westerly county.
The multi-terrain courses around Eden will follow a challenging route through areas of spectacular mining heritage and beautiful countryside landscapes and features.
As part of the entry fee for the 18 October event, runners can expect chip timing, regular water and sports drink stations, supervised storage facilities, cash prizes for winners, a themed medal, t-shirt and best of all, a true Cornish pasty.
There is also a runners’ pasta party the night before the races where participants can carbo-load to their hearts’ content for £7 per head. To find out more, visit the Eden Project website.
