The NEC, Birmingham is the location for the 2019 National Running Show on Saturday 19 - Sunday 20 January and there is plenty to see and do.
Following on from the inaugural event at the beginning of 2018, the multi-award winning National Running Show 2019 promises to be bigger and better. One of the highlights of this year’s show was the Features Areas that proved to be a winner with attendees who spoke to experts, obtained advice and tested products. As a result of feedback this interactive aspect includes a greater number of specialist areas, appealing to runners from the Midlands and beyond.
Back by popular demand are Run3D who are sponsoring 3D Gait Analysis; Foundation Training and their self-treatment exercises; Go Run Right and their strength and mobility sessions; Go Faster Food for nutrition advice and Sports Injury Fix with their range of experts offering advice about injury prevention and recovery. These sponsored areas are open to runners of all abilities who are planning their training and/or racing schedules for 2019.
Also likely to be of interest is What’s On – a packed programme of talks, panel discussions and demonstrations. This is an opportunity to listen to high profile names in running talk about their experiences and meet them on a one-to-one basis in Ask the Experts zone.
Jo Pavey, Roger Black and Iwan Thomas are at the start of proceedings on Day 1 with a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting. Paula Radcliffe joins hosts Ben Smith and Susie Chan on Day 2.
