Entries open at 11pm (BST) today for the 11th Geneva Marathon on 2-3 May 2015. The event features eight different races with early bird registration fees available until 15 October.
On the Saturday, races include La Genevoise 5K for women only (14 and over) and junior races for runners aged between 6 and 15, following the shores of Lake Geneva and including the Jardin Anglais. After its success in 2014, the 10K race open to runners and walkers will again take place on the Saturday evening.
On Sunday, 3 May, the marathon, marathon relay and half marathon will cover a beautiful course through the Swiss city, and the surrounding countryside with Alpine summits as a backdrop plus a lakeside finish on the iconic Pont du Mont Blanc. Participants in the 20K Wheelchair and Handcycle race will take on a course along the shores of Lake Geneva.
