Organisers of the popular Asda Foundation 10K series, which includes the Leeds, York, Hull, Burnley, City of Lincoln and the all-new Nottingham events, have announced that entries for each are now open. Runners looking for an extra bit of motivation for 2016 can set themselves the challenge of a season ticket that encompasses all of the races.
The series kicks off with the City of Lincoln 10K, now in its 20th year, which takes place on Sunday 17 April; this will be followed by the all-new Nottingham 10K on Sunday 15 May.
The Burnley 10K is next up on Sunday 5 June before runners head to the waterfront two weeks later for the Hull 10K on Sunday 19 June. Expect unrivalled celebrations in Yorkshire on Sunday 10 July when the Leeds 10K sees its 10th birthday. The series comes to a resounding close in the ancient city of York on Sunday 7 August.
Run For All Event Team Manager Charlie Tatman said: “It’s always an exciting time of year when we open our 10Ks; one that we know people look forward to. Signing up for a challenge before Christmas is a great way to have a guilt-free Christmas – enjoy the festivities safe in the knowledge that you have a great way of staying motivated come the new year.”
