Colour running event Run or Dye is set to arrive in the city of dreaming spires this September. The first Oxford-hosted event of what organisers describe as ‘the world’s most colourful 5km’ will take place on Saturday 26 September.
The event is set for Cornbury Park, bringing the spectacular explosion of Run or Dye colour to the heart of the Cotswolds, the event will encourage runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to have fun and enjoy the colourful running event.
Hundreds have already entered into the Oxfordshire Run or Dye event with all participants encouraged to run, jog or walk to the finish line, getting covered head-to-toe in colour as they go through four Dye Zones.
Inspired by the ancient Hindu festival of Holi, also known as the ‘Festival of Colours’, Run or Dye gives runners, walkers and all speeds in-between, the opportunity to experience and celebrate in full colour the thrill of the Festival and introduce the idea of ‘living life on purpose’.
Participants can run dressed in white and run ready or in their favourite and most extravagant costumes. As part of registration all participants will receive a goody bag with their white t-shirt, their very own dye packs and plenty more.
