If you want to take part in the Ramathon, scheduled for Sunday 7 June, you have less than two weeks to register. Entries for the event, which is set to pull in a field of up to 4000 runners, close on Wednesday 20 May.
The race made a successful return last year and is one of the most anticipated events in the Midlands calendar. Starting and finishing at the iProStadium, runners will be able to enjoy a newly designed 13.1 mile course, which will still include the villages of Shardlow, Ambaston, Elvaston and the Castle Grounds
Last year’s race saw Derby AC’s Luke Gunn take top place in a time of 1:08:53, with Alastair Watson of Notts AC taking second 1:09:45, while Lisa Palmer led the female field home in 1:22:57, followed by Hannah Oldroyd 1:27:09.
Standard entry price is just £24 or (£22 for UK Affiliated Members). More details of which are available here.
