Following the success of the inaugural Running Awards in April this year, organisers have confirmed they will return in 2015. The Running Awards is an independent annual awards ceremony celebrating the best of running and its culture, with runners and consumers nominating and voting for their favourite products, brands, publications, sports retailers and events.
Categories open for voting so far include accessories, gadgets, men’s and women’s clothing, men’s and women’s shoes as well as books, magazines, blogs and running websites. New categories are launched weekly, and runners can have input and request for additional nominations to be added until December. Voting is free, the only details required are a name and email address.
Paul Corrick, director of Reality Ltd and co-founder of The Running Awards commented: “We are pleased to confirm that The Running Awards are back for 2015 and that free voting is now open across a range of categories. We received some great feedback from industry professionals, runners and consumers alike in our first year, and we are looking forward to delivering another fantastic awards ceremony next April. The Running Awards are completely independent, they truly are awards for runners voted by runners!
The Running Awards 2015 will be taking place in London next April, further details will be announced shortly.
