Caythorpe Dash Half Marathon & 5K Run

The 23rd Caythorpe event – 2 races on Sunday 1 Mar 20 using Race|Result chipped timing and Team scoring.

The Caythorpe Dash – Half Marathon (single or Team) is a part-marshaled / part-signed, multi-terrain run through the picturesque Lincolnshire countryside which takes in tracks, bridle paths, footpaths and minor roads in the rural Trent valley; total ascent 422 ft. Teams of 4 competitors, consisting of 2 women and 2 men. Age limit: 16 upwards. Entry: £24

The Caythorpe Dash – 5K is a fully-marshalled, road & track run up and down the Lincolnshire ridge with great views of the Trent valley; the total ascent is 61m. Age limit: 13 upwards; 13 – 15s must have parent running in this race. Entry: £10 adult ; 13 to 15s £6
Running with your dog is most acceptable; all we ask is that you start at the back of the grid.

Online entry is open until midnight 27 Feb 20 – then on-day registration @ £30 & £12.

FacilitiesThe Hammond Pavilion, Caythorpe Playing Field, Old Lincoln Road – NG32 3DF. There are full changing / showering facilities in the Hammond Pavilion, bag drop (2 locked rooms), free parking (normally on the playingfield, very close to the pavilion) and free light refreshments after the race. Live race results are displayed in the pavilion, and available on the web through Rac|Result. We aim to provide a friendly, pleasant run and event, welcoming all.

PrizesAll half marathon competitors will receive a medal and a goody bag; 5K competitors will receive a medal and a certificate. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 female and male finishers in both races, the top 3 teams in the half marathon, and the top three 13 – 15 year olds, both female and male, in the 5K.
