The National Festival of Running Half Marathon

The National Festival of Running is a three-day event taking place at Weston Park in Shropshire on Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2019, and the organisers are promising “a weekend away with your running family and friends like no other”.

The National Festival of Running will feature four UKA-approved races, classes, live music, running stories, meet ups, camping, a shopping village and more. The 5K takes place on Friday evening, the Half Marathon and Festival Mile on Saturday, and the 10K on Sunday. Entry to all races is included in the ticket price and runners can earn a medal for each race completed.

There will be two fully equipped sound stages providing live music, and DJ Jo Whiley has been confirmed as the Saturday night headline act. The ticket price includes camping for the Friday and Saturday night, with designated zones including Family Camping, Quiet Camping, General Camping, Campervan zone, plus dedicated community areas for running clubs and community groups.
