Warmley Forest Park 5K & 10K

Course description:

Flat/Undulating but suitable for all standards of runners (We do not set time limits for any of our events)

A stunning off road, multi terrain course that will transverse over a mixture of broadleaved woodland, scrub and open grassland with a small section of the route on the Bristol to Bath Railway Path. The course is flat/undulating with a few small cheeky hills thrown in and will be suitable for all standards of runner. All this whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings of the Warmley Forest Park, a former extensive clay quarry. The whole area has now matured into a thriving Wildlife area. You will also take in beautiful ponds and the Siston brook rushes alongside the Eastern boundary. The Forest Park is a public open space that can also easily accessed by bike, car and bus.

Race Registration will start at 9am for the collection of race numbers on the day and this will be held within the Visitor Centre, which is just 50m inside the Forest Park entrance.

The event will be timed.

There will be a suitably placed half way water station for the 10k runners and the finishers table will be laden with its usual fruit, cake and treats.

First Aid will be in attendance and the course will be fully marshalled.
